We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, delivering high-quality meals to our guests. Your expertise in food preparation and culinary techniques will contribute to creating memorable dining experiences.
Duties
Prepare and cook meals according to the restaurant's recipes and standards.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours.
Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management.
Clean and organise the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils, to maintain a safe working environment.
Follow all health and safety regulations while handling food products.
Experience
2yrs previous experience in a restaurant or commercial kitchen is required.
Strong skills in food preparation and meal preparation techniques are highly valued.
Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary principles is advantageous.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
A team-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills is essential for success in this role.
