Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hard working chef to join our cracking little team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant/cafe environment. We have consistently grown every year as a business through hard work and maintaining our exceptionally high standards when it comes to food quality and service so every candidate must be able to come in and get up to our speed straight away. We pride ourselves on what we do and are looking for someone with similar attribute.

The hours are:

Mon-Fri: Between 8am to 5pm

Sat-Sun: between 8am to 8pm

We offer a delivery service on a Saturday and Sunday night which means we have alternate shifts at the weekend with later starts for those on the delivery service with everyone taking there turn to work it each weekend.

Roasters Is a cracking little place to work, we have flexible shifts where we work around the staff, great tips that are split daily, a great little atmosphere and to be honest it's a little family here who can have a laugh on shift all while delivering an outstanding service. Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in the overall kitchen operations, including food preparation and organisation of the kitchen. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Help train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety practices.

Experience

Previous experience as a chef is absolutely necessary Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment. Knowledge of food safety standards and practices. Ability to work well under pressure in a busy restaurant setting. Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen.

Pay: From 13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
