Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food preparation is conducted in compliance with food safety regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
Assist in the development of new menu items and contribute creative ideas for meal preparation.
Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred.
