We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef De Partie to join our culinary team. As a Chef De Partie, you will play a vital role in meal preparation and ensuring that all food safety standards are adhered to while maintaining the highest level of culinary excellence.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored
Follow food safety guidelines and maintain proper hygiene practices at all times
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to the kitchen manager
Participate in menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes or improvements
Qualifications
Previous kitchen experience is essential, with a strong background in food preparation and cooking
Culinary experience or formal training is highly desirable
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy restaurant setting
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues
