We're growing. This is creating opportunities for our team to take on new roles. We've got some great people who are ready for more responsibility so we're looking for some more good ingredients to help develop our teams across all 3 of our eateries (Sankey's, The Old Fishmarket & The George & Dragon).

We're looking for Chefs with a strong background in food preparation, a passion for flavour and a love for a busy service, keen to progress but patient to learn.

We need a good understanding of food safety and kitchen operations because we love taking on junior staff with no experience andf building their careers with us.

As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for delivering dishes that delight our guests while maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation. This role requires excellent teamwork skills and the ability to manage your work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities



Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to the restaurant's menu and standards. Ensure all food safety regulations are followed, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment. willing to supervise juniour kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure efficient food production. Collaborate with management on menu planning, special events, and seasonal offerings. Monitor inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain stock levels. Maintain equipment and kitchen tools, ensuring they are in good working condition. Uphold the restaurant's commitment to hospitality by delivering exceptional service through food quality.

Skills



Proven experience in a restaurant or similar culinary environment. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Proficient in food preparation techniques and culinary skills. Leadership potential with a desire to help supervising junior kitchen staff. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A passion for hospitality and creating memorable dining experiences for guests. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 45 per week
