Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in our kitchen, ensuring that meals are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation. You will work closely with other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests while adhering to food safety regulations and maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in the preparation of ingredients and ensure all food is stored properly. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of meals. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages or issues. Assist with menu planning and development as needed. Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Requirements

Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and cooking methods. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. A passion for cooking and creating high-quality meals. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
