Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service.
Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management.
Help train new kitchen staff as needed.
Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Experience
Previous experience in a culinary or kitchen environment is essential.
A good knowledge of meal preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work under pressure in a busy restaurant setting.
