We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef de Partie to join our culinary team in a vibrant restaurant environment. As a Chef de Partie, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional meals to our guests while working collaboratively with other kitchen staff.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, ensuring all food is fresh and properly stored.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment.
Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service during busy periods.
Monitor portion sizes and presentation of dishes before serving to ensure quality control.
Help with inventory management by reporting stock levels and assisting in ordering supplies as needed.
Requirements
Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills within the culinary field.
