The Brewers Arms is a well renowned village pub with a vibrant bar and separate 50 cover restaurant. We serve a wide ranging menu from traditional pub classics to mouth watering main courses, all beautifully created by our kitchen team.
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing high-quality meals and ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly. You will be responsible for food preparation, cooking, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards. Ensure all food safety regulations are followed, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen. Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients as required. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods. Monitor stock levels of ingredients and communicate needs to the head chef. Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas to ensure hygiene standards are met.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred but not essential; we welcome enthusiastic individuals willing to learn. Knowledge of food safety practices is crucial for maintaining health standards. Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and cooking methods is advantageous. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively within a busy kitchen environment.
