Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high levels of quality and presentation.
Assist in the daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or similar setting.
Strong culinary skills with an understanding of various cooking techniques.
Previous kitchen experience is essential; restaurant experience is highly desirable.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
