We are seeking a dedicated and passionate chef de partie, to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in accordance with our restaurant's standards, while adhering to food safety regulations. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a keen interest in culinary arts.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all cooking stations are tidy and well-stocked. Follow food safety protocols to ensure the health and safety of both staff and customers. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service during busy periods. Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed. Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning duties at the end of shifts.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food preparation or as a cook in a restaurant setting is preferred. Strong understanding of food safety practices and culinary techniques. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required. A genuine passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers.
