Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of meals according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all food safety protocols are followed.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, fryers, and slicers.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed.
Ensure that all dishes are presented beautifully and meet the restaurant's quality standards.
Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in meal preparation.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
