Summary
We are seeking a talented Line Cook to join our culinary team at The Seaforth. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes that reflect our commitment to excellence in Scottish and seafood cuisine. Your contributions will be vital in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards set by the Executive Chef.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high quality and presentation standards.
Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean kitchen environment.
Assist in the development of new menu items and seasonal specials.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a restaurant setting.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
