Job Description

We are looking for a talented and strong Chef de Partie or Junior Sous to join our kitchen team where you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation. You will be responsible for managing a variety of sections within the kitchen and work closely with the team to deliver exceptional dishes.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your section to a high standard. Assist in the development of new menu items and seasonal specials. Ensure all food is prepared in line with food safety and hygiene regulations. Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to maintain a smooth service. Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients when necessary. Train and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff. Maintain a clean and organised workstation. Ensure consistency in quality and portion control.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Chef de Partie. A solid understanding of kitchen operations and food safety regulations. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail Passion for cooking and creativity in food presentation. Relevant culinary qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds, or equivalent) preferred.
