New Italian restaurant is looking for a chef that could cover the pasta/meat/fish section or the pizza station
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and a strong commitment to food safety and quality. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation, ensuring that each dish is prepared to the highest standards and served promptly. Responsibilities

Prepare and cook meals according to the restaurant's menu specifications. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management. Follow recipes accurately while also contributing ideas for new dishes or improvements. Help train new kitchen staff as needed.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team. A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques and recipes. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Pay: Up to 16.00 per hour
