Findon Manor is situated in the village of Findon just outside Worthing and 12 miles from Brighton. We are recruiting for a Chef de partie to take responsibility for ensuring the delivery of high standards of cuisine within our hotel.

We offer private dining, weddings and wakes, creating fantastic memories for our guests.

Working week is straight shifts from 1pm until 9pm with a break and ONE WEEKEND OFF AND ONE WEEKEND ON

Supporting to deliver activities that continuously develop the skills and capabilities of the team.

This hands-on role provides the opportunity to develop your skills in your interactions with team members and be inspired by the Head Chef

Competencies of a chef de partie

The ability to establish rapport and deliver high standards of service with a genuine and approachable manner is essential.

Level 2 food is required.

Duties:

- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Ensure that food is prepared in a timely manner and meets food safety guidelines
- Follow proper plate presentation and garnish set-up for all dishes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
- Assist with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen

Skills:

- Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety guidelines, and kitchen equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
