Chef de Partie/Junior Sous required to join our friendly, hardworking team at The Snowdrop Inn, Lewes.
Responsibilities include: Assisting the head chef/Owner, Cooking and Plating dishes to order, food preparation and cooking, ordering stock, checking deliveries, maintaining fridge and freezer stocks, Completing and managing Haccp and Food Safety checks via app, Maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen area, assisting washing up as required and working as a team.
We are looking for a great cook with experience in a a busy kitchen to join our small kitchen brigade to deliver our award winning classic pub food with a twist. Local sourcing and high welfare drive what we do as far as possible, but our food is of a very high standard sets the bench mark for what we do at The Snowdrop.
Working 3/4 days a week the ideal candidate will have an interest in food, previous bona fide experience and training, confidence in the kitchen as well as a desire to learn and develop new skills, whilst delivering excellent customer service.
Day release to college or externally supervised in house training also available
Flexible hours/shifts
At least 2 years experience, full on boarding and training will be provided
Hourly wage dependent on experience and qualifications/ability
