Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Duties



Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and portioning. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring all food safety regulations are adhered to. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and timely service. Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is used safely and maintained properly. Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Experience



Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary environment is preferred, particularly in a restaurant setting. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Familiarity with various cooking techniques and equipment is advantageous. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are crucial for success in this role.
