Duties

Collaborate with the culinary team to design and execute visually appealing presentations for various dishes. Supervise food preparation processes to ensure adherence to food safety standards and quality control. Assist in the kitchen during peak times, providing support as needed to ensure smooth operations. Manage team dynamics by fostering a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and innovation. Stay updated on current food trends and styling techniques to continuously enhance presentation skills. Conduct regular training sessions with kitchen staff on food presentation techniques and best practices. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is maintained and used safely during food preparation activities.

Experience

Previous experience in a culinary role, preferably within a restaurant or catering environment, is essential. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation. Experience in supervising kitchen staff or managing a team is highly desirable. A background in food production or culinary arts will be an advantage. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting. A creative mindset with an eye for detail, particularly when it comes to food presentation.
