We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, ensuring food safety standards are met, and contributing to a vibrant kitchen environment. Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards. Assist in meal preparation and ensure timely service during busy periods. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high hygiene standards throughout the kitchen. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to create innovative menus and improve existing recipes. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, providing guidance on food preparation techniques and safety practices.

Skills

Proficient in food preparation techniques and culinary skills. Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices. Experience working in a restaurant or similar kitchen environment is preferred. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced setting. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members. A passion for cooking and creativity in meal preparation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.94-14.38 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

tapas spanish mexican food : 4 years (required) Cooking: 4 years (preferred)
