Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and restaurant operations, with a flair for creating exceptional dishes. As a Chef, you will be involved in food preparation and cooking.

We have a well equipped kitchen and also a purpose built BBQ area in the gardens complete with grill, pizza oven and rotisserie

Duties

Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with menu specifications. Ability to prepare and cook using fresh ingredients Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen. Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Monitor food production processes to ensure quality and consistency in all dishes served. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies as needed to maintain stock levels. Help create a positive work environment by fostering teamwork and communication among kitchen staff.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a restaurant or hospitality setting. Good knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and presentation skills. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in food production processes. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A passion for cooking and creating innovative dishes that delight guests.
