Duties

Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a positive working environment Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high hygiene standards Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and exceptional presentation of dishes Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen procedures Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed Maintain a clean and organised kitchen space, adhering to health and safety guidelines

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant environment Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and supervision Excellent cooking skills with a deep understanding of food preparation techniques Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences Culinary qualifications or relevant certifications are advantageous

Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour
