Duties

Lead and manage the kitchen team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations. Oversee food production processes, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation. Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends. Supervise food preparation activities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork. Assist in maintaining inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to hygiene standards.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a fast-paced kitchen environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team. Comprehensive knowledge of food production techniques and kitchen management practices. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and presentation. A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality. Culinary qualifications or certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
