We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and preparation, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to food safety and quality. As a Chef, you will play a pivotal role in creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests while leading and managing the kitchen team effectively.
Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of food production, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
Manage kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory control, and ordering supplies.
Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
Collaborate with the hospitality team to create innovative dishes that enhance the guest experience.
Assist in the development of new recipes and menu items, incorporating seasonal ingredients.
Monitor food preparation processes to guarantee consistency and adherence to recipes.
Handle any customer feedback or concerns regarding food quality or service.
Experience
Applicants must have at least have a bachelor degree or should have UKVI IELTS - to support visa sponsorship* Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food preparation.
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively, with excellent interpersonal skills.
specializing in Indian cuisine, with a strong focus on North and South Indian street food.
Expert knowledge of Indian spices, herbs, and traditional cooking techniques, particularly for dishes like Dosa, Idly, Samosa, Biryani and other regional specialties.
A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Culinary qualifications or certifications are an advantage but not mandatory.
