We are seeking a talented and passionate South Indian Chef who specialises in Dosa , idily & other South Indian dishes to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant and food production, with a flair for creativity and a commitment to excellence in food preparation. As a Chef, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality dishes while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and kitchen management.
Duties
Oversee all aspects of food preparation and cooking, ensuring dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
Develop and design innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards within the kitchen.
Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Train new kitchen staff in cooking techniques, safety protocols, and kitchen procedures.
Monitor kitchen performance and implement improvements where necessary.
Skills
Proven experience in a restaurant or similar food production environment.
Strong leadership abilities with experience in supervising and managing a team.
Excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences.
