Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in a similar environment, delivering a traditional breakfast/brunch menu. You will play a pivotal role in creating exceptional experiences while managing kitchen operations efficiently. Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to our menu, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation. Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Manage kitchen staff where required, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow and teamwork. Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Monitor inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed while minimising waste. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained. Assist in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen protocols. Support in setting up our "order online and takeaway" service.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production. Demonstrated ability to manage a team effectively while fostering a positive working environment. Positive and friendly attitude Flexibility with special requests (for allergies or preferences) Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Current hours are Saturdays and Sundays (08.30-13.30) but depending on the individual and availability, other shifts could be discussed.
