Duties

Prepare ingredients and cook meals according to specified recipes and standards Assist with food presentation and garnishing to ensure visual appeal Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitising surfaces Follow food safety protocols at all times, ensuring compliance with health regulations Support meal preparation during busy service periods, working efficiently under pressure Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of shortages

Requirements

Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen environments is preferred Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices Experience in meal preparation within a restaurant or catering setting is advantageous Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Basic understanding of culinary techniques and food presentation skills Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends if required
