We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Chef to join our culinary team. Responsibilities
Assist the Head Chef in planning and executing menus, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support in food preparation and cooking techniques.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations at all times.
Oversee food production processes, ensuring efficiency and consistency in all dishes served.
Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and improve customer satisfaction.
Participate in training new kitchen staff on culinary techniques, safety practices, and kitchen protocols.
Monitor inventory levels, assisting with ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Engage with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during peak times.
Requirements
Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential.
Strong culinary skills with a solid understanding of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Experience in supervising or managing a team, demonstrating effective leadership qualities.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is crucial for maintaining hygiene standards.
