We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong culinary skills and a deep understanding of food preparation and production. As a Chef, you will play a pivotal role in creating exceptional dining experiences while leading and supervising kitchen staff. Your expertise in hospitality and team management will ensure that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards. Oversee food preparation and production processes to maintain consistency and quality. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items that reflect current culinary trends. Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Manage inventory levels, ensuring that all ingredients are fresh and properly stored. Assist in the planning of special events or catering services as required. Foster a positive team atmosphere by promoting effective communication and teamwork within the kitchen.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and production methods. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and quality control. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure. A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes is essential. Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are preferred but not mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour
