Job Description

Overview

To ensure all Chemical Raw Materials are on site in time for production, on site physical stock matches computer records by completing PI counts, Tanker decanting supervision and control of chemical waste movements off site by ensuring pallets are loaded for despatch and accurate records are kept.

Duties

Produce Chemical demand for picking Chemical call backs from external warehouses Work closely with the Materials team to manage shortages and excess stocks Schedule & locate Pre kitted Chemical Return excess material to U29 or external warehouses Allocate & maintain Quarantine materials Chemical Tanker delivery offloading Daily Location & PI checks Ensure certain locations are cleansed each day (Lab additions/U21 transfer in) Bulk storage tanks Flammables, powder, bleach, peroxide, antifoam & paste Control waste streams (IBC's, drums & chemical) to ensure waste is off site and accurate records kept

Quality

Detection of deviation from specified product requirement

Detection of contravention of the quality system

Experience

Previous experience in a warehouse environment is essential, preferably involving stock management and materials handling. Proven ability to operate forklifts safely Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and documentation processes. Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and other departments. Hours: 37.5 over 3 days 05.30am - 18.00pm 2 weekly rotation

Week 1 - Sunday, Monday, Tuesday

Week 2 - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
