Who You Are / Your Next Challenge

The Bank CFO role will provide executive leadership across all financial and strategic aspects of Moneycorp Bank. The role will drive the Banks financial planning and also perform risk management by analysing the Banks liabilities and investments. The role will influence investment strategies by considering capital and liquidity risks and will ensure that the Bank is in compliance with relevant statutory and regulatory reporting.

As part of the Bank\'s Executive team the Bank CFO will play a significant role in driving business growth through the provision of robust analysis sound business judgement.

The role will be responsible for Moneycorp Bank\'s financial policies and management to ensure effective strategic project management, delivery and operational excellence across all functions to optimise equity value alongside driving growth and profitability.

Moneycorp Bank is authorised and regulated by the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission and has a passport to offer their services on a cross-border basis to the UK as part of the post Brexit arrangements. The Bank also holds a licence with the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

This will be an Approved Person role with the Gibraltar FSC.

What we\'re looking for / Skills that will help you in the role

  • Provide timely and accurate critical analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts, to include monthly, quarterly and annual accounts
  • Provide critical analysis of performance of the Bank
  • Partner with all senior stakeholders and business unit heads to measure and drive key performance metrics
  • Manage financial controls and accounting procedures with suitable transfer pricing for Bank reporting
  • Effectively and clearly communicate potential financial risks in a timely manner
  • Proactively engage with external and internal auditors and updating them on important matters as required
  • Working with statutory audit partner to ensure that the external audit and annual accounts sign off is complete on time and to a high standard.
  • Interact with Group as required for providing audited data for group consolidation in time
  • Ensure effective ongoing management and forecasting of capital and balance sheet ensuring constructive challenge and support
  • Decide on investment strategies by considering capital and liquidity risks
  • Managing the capital request and budgeting processes
  • Oversight of the treasury function with regard to the liquidity management
  • Accountable for ICAAP and ILAAP
  • Ensure company adheres to all statutory and regulatory requirements in all jurisdictions
  • Understands regulators asks to evaluate bank\'s operations and its overall health by assessing the compliance needs according to regulatory provisions

Please note: This is a full-time, permanent position as part of Gibraltar\'s Bank Finance team.
