Chief Financial Officer
Job Description
Axon Moore is working with a market-leading, Yorkshire-based listed business that is looking to appoint a high calibre Chief Financial Officer to help shape and deliver the company\'s strategy as part of the executive leadership team and PLC Board.
The CFO will play a critical role in driving change, shaping financial strategy, managing performance, and ensuring the company\'s financial health is in line with its business objectives and growth plans.
Responsibilities will include developing and executing financial strategies, providing leadership and guidance to the finance team, monitoring financial planning and performance to enable effective decision making and growth, and driving continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Assessment of investment opportunities, M&A and other strategic initiatives will be a key part of the role on an ongoing basis.
The ideal candidate will have proven PLC experience in a leadership role (no.1 or no.2 in finance) and must be capable of effectively managing relationships with the City and contributing to investor relations activities. The CFO must be a qualified accountant with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to inspire and lead.
