We are a growing ecommerce business designing and manufacturing our own innovative products in two key markets. We sell directly to customers via multiple platforms including Amazon, eBay, Shopify, and B&Q. With a lean but dedicated team, we handle everything in-house -- from product development to marketing and fulfillment.
As we scale, we're looking for a hands-on Chief Marketing Officer to lead all marketing and growth activities, bringing expertise across digital and offline channels, and helping us unlock new sales opportunities.
The Role:-
This is a pivotal leadership role combining strategic marketing with business development. You'll quickly learn our brands and product ranges, then drive and execute a comprehensive marketing plan to accelerate growth. Your remit will cover all marketing touchpoints, including digital ads, SEO, social media, influencer partnerships, web design and optimization, PR, and trade/wholesale targeting.
Key Responsibilities:-
Digital Marketing Leadership
Paid Advertising:
Manage and lead a team of freelancers who cover Google Ads, Facebook Ads, TikTok Ads campaign management and optimization
SEO Strategy:
Improve organic visibility and drive qualified traffic
Social Media & Influencers:
Build brand presence and engagement across platforms
Email Marketing:
Develop and execute retention and conversion campaigns
Website & Conversion Optimization
Web Design:
Oversee website improvements and user experience
CRO & Landing Pages:
Create high-converting pages for campaigns
Analytics & Heat Maps:
Use data to optimize conversion funnels
Content Creation:
Blog writing and content marketing strategy
Business Development
Trade Marketing:
Direct targeting of professional tradespeople
B2B Sales:
Develop wholesale and distributor relationships
Market Expansion:
Identify and pursue new market opportunities
Partnership Development:
Build strategic business relationships
Brand & Communications
PR & Media:
Manage press releases and media relationships
Brand Strategy:
Develop and maintain consistent brand messaging
Discovery Marketing:
Research and implement innovative marketing techniques

What We're Looking For:-
Essential Experience
5+ years in ecommerce marketing
with proven track record of driving growth
Multi-platform expertise:
Amazon, eBay, Shopify and other ecommerce channels
Paid advertising proficiency:
Google Ads, Facebook Ads, with demonstrable ROI
SEO and content marketing
experience with measurable results
B2B marketing experience
- trade and wholesale markets preferred
Technical Skills
Analytics platforms:
Google Analytics, Facebook Analytics, platform-specific tools
Design capabilities:
Basic graphic design skills or experience working with designers
CRO tools:
Experience with heat mapping, A/B testing, conversion optimization

You're an experienced marketing professional who's successfully grown ecommerce businesses before. You understand both the strategic and tactical sides of marketing, from high-level planning to hands-on campaign execution.
You're comfortable working with technical products in B2B and B2C markets, and you see the potential in our established brands. You want to take ownership of a marketing function and drive real business growth.
Most importantly, you deliver results. You can provide specific examples of campaigns you've run, growth you've achieved, and ROI you've generated.
