About the role:

The Children\xe2\x80\x99s Commissioning Team commissions projects and services with a range of partners and providers (including defined statutory partners as well as private and third sector organisations) for children and young people aged 0 \xe2\x80\x93 25 in Powys.

As Childcare and Play Projects Officer, you will support and lead on specific work streams and projects as part of the whole commissioning cycle to ensure effective and efficient project delivery. You will identify opportunities for closer partnership working and you will be responsible for maintaining, developing and building partnerships internally and externally to influence and support the achievement of key initiatives.

You will collate and analyse data and information to inform the development and delivery of the projects under your remit. You will carry out reviews of the current client, contractor and service arrangements and the impact and influence on service delivery and performance as part of delivering outcomes for children, young people and families in Powys.
