Little Rays has an amazing opportunity for a Nursery Assistants to join our team on a permanent basis.

As a Nursery Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the Nursery team in providing a safe, stimulating, and educational environment for children aged 2 months - 12 years old.

Requirements

Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting is desirable.

Level 3 qualification in childcare is preferred, or the willingness to complete the qualification whilst employed.

If you are working a minimum of 21 hours per week within a childcare setting, you could access this course through the Apprenticeship NI programmeYou will be required to have Essential skills in English, Maths and ICT or equivalent (proof required) Access NI clearance and Health declaration will be carried out. Must have two references from previous employers. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to multitask A positive and enthusiastic approach to working with children. Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. A willingness to learn and undertake further training as required.Please note that this position will require a background check and reference checks.
