Childcare HR are currently supporting Good as Gold Childminding to find a passionate and committed Childcare Assistant.

About the Role:

As a Childcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our childminding services. Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting in the planning and implementation of engaging activities Supervising and ensuring the safety of children at all times Supporting children's personal, social, and emotional development Assisting and undertaking personal care of the children, such as nappies, toileting and basic hygiene requirements Preparing and providing meals and snacks for the children Collaborating with parents and caregivers to provide the best care possible Assisting with wraparound drop-off and pick-up for school-aged children.

Who We're Looking For:

A genuine love for working with children Strong communication and teamwork skills Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude Previous experience in a childcare setting Minimum of Level 2 childcare qualification or equivalent Must carry a full, clean driving license Must hold an Enhanced DBS check or be willing to undergo one as part of the recruitment process A Paediatric First Aid certificate is desirable or willingness to undertake (funded by the company) A Health Declaration Booklet, as per Ofsted or willingness to obtain (funded by the company).
