The Wraparound Care School Program plays a vital role in fostering a nurturing and engaging environment for children in educational settings. This position requires individuals who are passionate about early childhood education. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of children, and effectively communicating with parents and staff.
Duties
The wraparound care runs from 7:30am to 8:40am and then 15:00 to 18:00 if we have children on late stay otherwise you could finish at 17:00 Monday to Friday and during the school term only.

Childcare Assistant
to assist in our
Before & After School Club
. You will create a safe, engaging, and fun environment for children while ensuring their wellbeing and development.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver exciting activities tailored to children's needs.
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and school staff.
Ensure the safety and welfare of all children in line with safeguarding policies.
To be part of a small team to maintain a welcoming and structured environment.
Support children's social, emotional, and physical development.
Supervise and engage with children during various activities, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
Plan and implement educational programmes that promote learning through play.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships.
Manage classroom dynamics, encouraging cooperation and respect among students.
Drive initiatives that enhance the overall experience for children in the programme.
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and behaviour.
Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive team environment.
Provide support in school settings, ensuring all health and safety regulations are adhered to.
Qualifications
Proven experience working with children in childcare. Playwork or educational setting is essential.
Level 2 or above in Early Years or Childcare
(desirable).
A background in early childhood/childcare education is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm and organised approach.
A genuine passion for working with children and fostering their development.
Relevant qualifications or certifications in childcare or education would be an advantage.
Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
Confident communication skills.
Ability to create a nurturing and stimulating environment.
