This position is temporary to 31 May 2026, or the return of the substantive postholder.

WHAT IS INVOLVED?





We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking individual who is passionate about fostering a nurturing environment for children aged 0-5.



You will be part of a longstanding and committed team full of creative individuals, dedicated to providing high quality care and education. Your role will include engaging children in exciting, enriching activities, monitoring and recording their learning in accordance with the EYFS framework, ensuring their safety and wellbeing and working in partnership with parents and colleagues to create a positive and inclusive environment.



Embracing the opportunity to work outdoors in all weathers, you will help children explore and learn through nature. You will assist with the safety of children during external visits and collaborate effectively with colleagues, other agencies and organisations to support the needs and development of children.

WHAT WILL I NEED?





The ideal candidate will have experience of working within the Early Years Foundation Stage framework, have sound safeguarding knowledge and some experience in working with children with SEND.



Qualifications:


A Level 3 qualification in Childcare or an equivalent recognised certification.



Experience, skills and personal qualities:


Experience working in an inclusive environment, supporting children of all backgrounds and abilities. A genuine enthusiasm for working with young children and helping them thrive. Personal qualities such as patience, creativity, reliability, and a caring nature. Excellent communication skills, both with children and adults. A proactive attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team.

Interviews are expected to be held week beginning 27 October 2025.
