Due to our expanding numbers we are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and the ability to create a safe, engaging environment. As a Childcare Practitioner, you will be responsible for managing the daily activities of children, ensuring their well-being, and fostering their development through play and structured learning.
Duties
Provide attentive and compassionate care for children in a nursery or childcare setting.
Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
Communicate effectively with children to encourage their expression and understanding.
Manage daily routines including meal times, nap times, and playtime while ensuring safety at all times.
Maintain a clean and organised environment that is conducive to learning and exploration.
Collaborate with parents or guardians to discuss children's progress and address any concerns.
Experience
Previous experience in childcare is highly desirable.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage groups of children effectively.
Excellent communication skills in English to interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
A background in nursery settings is advantageous.
A genuine love for children and a commitment to their growth and well-being is essential.
