Jousters Childcare is a family-run Breakfast and After School Club, dedicated to providing affordable, high-quality childcare across 11 schools in the Hertfordshire area. At Wheatfields Junior Jousters the shifts we require the applicant to work will be -

Tuesday and Wednesday Breakfast club 7.30-9am and Monday - Thursday 3-6pm, term time only. Please only apply if you can work the full hours stated.

Summary

As a Playworker at Jousters Childcare, you will be instrumental in delivering engaging and supportive care to children. This role is vital in ensuring that each child feels valued and has the opportunity to express their preferences regarding activities and club operations.

Responsibilities

Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children. Plan and implement engaging activities that cater to children's interests. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff. Supervise children's play and ensure their safety at all times. Support children's development. Encourage children to express their opinions and participate in decision-making regarding club activities.

Requirements

Experience working with children is preferred but full training will be given. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children and parents. Basic management skills are beneficial for overseeing daily activities. Leadership qualities to inspire and guide children during activities.
