Childcare Manager



PPP is a multifaceted charity that is focused on supporting our local population in Caithness.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Childcare Manager to join our team and help maintain our commitment to excellence. A person who shares our values and will bring their knowledge and can-do approach to not only the Early Learning Centre, but the whole aims of the PPP.

Key Responsibilities



Lead and support the day-to-day running of our Early Learning and Childcare (ELC) service Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence in practice? Identify and support staff training and development Manage resources, staffing, and budgets effectively Ensure full compliance with SSSC and Care Inspectorate standards Work closely with families and external partners to deliver the best outcomes for children Oversee quality assurance, documentation, and inspection readiness
In order to carry out the duties of this post effectively and safely, candidates will be able to provide evidence of the following:

Qualifications and Experience



Essential

Strong background within childcare, with at least 2 years post practitioner qualification experience Qualified to SCQF Level 7 in Childcare Practice, with the desire and ability to work towards SCQF level 9
Desirable

Qualified to SCQF Level 9 in Childcare Practice

Skills & Abilities

Working Hours



This role offers flexible working between 30-36 hours per week, with occasional Saturday availability required for special events or group sessions.
