Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and responsible childminder assistant to provide care for children at our home from home childcare setting. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to fostering a safe, engaging, and educational atmosphere while supporting the family's daily routines. This role requires someone who is not only skilled in childcare but also possesses the ability to educate and communicate effectively with children.

Duties

Supervise and engage with children in a variety of activities, ensuring their safety at all times. Plan and implement educational activities that promote learning and development. Assist educational tasks, providing guidance as needed. Prepare meals and snacks, catering to dietary requirements and preferences. Maintain a clean and organised environment for the children, including tidying up after activities. Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behaviour, and any concerns that may arise. Foster a positive relationship with the children by being attentive, patient, and understanding.

Qualifications

Experience in childcare or raising children. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Valid driving licence is preferred for transportation duties. Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in childcare. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. A caring attitude with a genuine passion for working with children.

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour
