Penarth Methodist Church needs someone to support its thriving range of work with children , young people and families based on bringing the good news of Jesus through friendship and fun.

Encouraging and supporting those children and families already part of the church and those loosely connected with it Supporting and developing our Messy Church, Toddler Group, Boys Brigade Junior Chuch and other activities geared towards young children Engaging with parents of younger children locally to serve their needs and introduce hem to the church family here .
We would love to hear from you if you have a personal Christian faith ( though not necessarily a Methodist ), experience of working with younger children and families preferably in a church related context and with a background in Children,Family Youth or Community work .
Flexible working time can be negotiated around a small core of fixed hours .

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 14.72 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
