Children's Registered Manager - Brand New 5-Bed EBD/LD Home - Kettering



Location:

Salary:

55,000 - 60,000 + 5,000 Joining Bonus + + Quarterly Bonuses

40 hours per week (Permanent - Full Time)

Annual Leave

Our lovely client is opening a

brand-new, purpose-built children's home

in Kettering for young people with emotional and learning disabilities - and are seeking a

Registered Manager

to shape its future. This is your chance to:

Your Mission



To be r

esponsible for the management and operational delivery

of the Children's Home. To

oversee the implementation of standards

as required by OFSTED. To s

upport in the registration process

of this Children's Home. To

lead regulatory inspections,

ensuring the service is high-quality and evidenced based during inspection with support from the Responsible Individual. To successfully achieve a

minimum of 'Good' inspection rating

. Be a part of the on-call system.

Requirements



Level 5 Diploma

in Leadership for Residential Childcare (or working towards it).

2+ years' experience

managing an OFSTED-regulated children's home.

Great expertise

in EBD/LD care and safeguarding. A leadership style that's

both compassionate and decisive

. Excellent knowledge of the Children's Homes Regulations (2015) and the Social Care Common Inspection Framework Experience of

working with children at a managerial level

Demonstrate

knowledge and understanding of operational management

within children's homes A working

understanding of relevant legislation and policies

, such as Children and Families Act, Children's Act, Working Together to Safeguard Children Knowledge of

care standards and the requirements

of OFSTED Experience of

leading OFSTED inspections, with a minimum of "Good" ratings
