We are an Ofsted-registered provider of residential children's services in Essex. We specialise in supporting four Children with EBD needs from a beautifully refurbished home in Harlow.

The Opportunity
On a day-to-day basis you'll work in a team of 2 delivering on individual care plans that are designed with the young peoples best interest and optimal outcome at heart.
You'll work closely with the Registered Manager to support a team of Residential Support Workers and young people to become the best versions of themselves. This is a fast paced environment with good progression and promotion opportunities.
You'll be paid an hourly rate of between 15.50 - 16.50 dependent on experience and qualifications with the view to become the home registered manager in the future.
Eligibility & requirements
Available to work a mix of 9-5 office hours and shifts as per the needs of the service.
A positive mind-set and outlook on life
a proficient level of IT literacy
Have previous senior leadership experience in a children's home
Have had responsibility for areas of development, performance and standards and in developing teams
Have a comprehensive understanding of the Children's Homes Regulations including Quality Standards 2015
Experience in providing reflective supervision Residential Child Care Workers.
Are qualified as a minimum to Level 3 Diploma for Residential Child Care (or equivalent), or higher
Hold a full UK driving license
A full UK drivers license / International driving permit
A willingness to personally grow, learn, develop and progress.
Duties
To support the Registered Care Manager in ensuring compliance by adhering to company Policy and Procedures.
To adopt to the Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and requirements set by Ofsted.
To support and manage the home during Ofsted Inspections, either to undertake a proactive approach
To ensure that the young people's needs are recognised and met.
To overseeing the development, monitoring and implementation of the individual young people's care plans and case files.
Ensure staff attend required training and team meetings.
To develop and maintain good working relationships with parents, social workers, schools and other professionals involved with the welfare of the young people.
