We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated children Residential Support Worker to join our team. 14 for those with Level 3 in Residential childcare and at least 2 years experience working with children

Responsibilities
Cooking, housekeeping, attending activities with the young people, shopping, engaging in conversation with young people, etc.
Lead and manage care shifts, ensuring smooth daily operations
Provide consistent, trauma informed support to young people
Promote safeguarding and behaviour management best practices
Mentor and guide junior support workers
contribute to care planning, risk assessments, and daily reports
Upload Ofsted regulations and quality care standards
Implement tailored support plans that focus on the unique needs of each individual.
Engage with children and adults in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and personal development.
Administer medication as required, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with families, educators, and healthcare professionals to create a supportive network for individuals.
Document progress and maintain accurate records of care provided.
Utilise applied behaviour analysis techniques to encourage positive behaviour and skill development.
Support individuals in accessing community resources and participating in social activities.
Skills
Experience working with children or individuals with EBD or mental health is essential.
Knowledge of PACE model and applied and behaviour analysis principles is highly desirable.
Strong interpersonal skills, allowing for effective communication with clients, families, and team members.
Ability to administer medication safely and responsibly.
A compassionate approach to young people care, demonstrating patience and understanding in all interactions.
