We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Therapeutic Support Worker / Senior Therapeutic support worker to empower young people by providing high-quality care and support in a nurturing environment. We are looking for someone to:
Provide high-quality care and support to young people in a nurturing and therapeutic environment.
Make a meaningful impact by helping young individuals develop independence, resilience, and life skills.
Support young people with daily living tasks, including cooking, cleaning, and personal hygiene.
Encourage participation in community activities, social engagements, and recreational outings.
Foster confidence and emotional well-being in young individuals.
A key part of this position is taking a therapeutic approach to care, ensuring that the young people's emotional and psychological needs are met. You will be trained within a therapeutic model, which will equip you with the skills to support emotional regulation and promote a safe and structured environment for young people to express themselves. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate reports and records in compliance with Ofsted regulations, supporting the planning and participation in community-based activities such as holidays and outdoor excursions, and ensuring the home remains compliant with health and safety regulations. The safe administration and management of medication will also be a key responsibility, ensuring best practices are followed to protect the well-being of the young people in your care.
This role follows a two-week rolling rota, alternating between long and short weeks, with all shifts being 15 hours in length, including sleep-in duties attached to the shift where required (Sleep in paid separately to the shift). Working on bank holidays may be necessary depending on your shift pattern.
