Job Description
As a childrens carer, your role will be delivering health care and support to children and young people in a variety of settings. This could mean providing hands-on care in the family home, supporting a child or young person to attend school or staffing the respite unit. The ability to travel independently during working time is essential. You will be supported to learn clinical skills such as tracheostomy care, gastrostomy feeding, suction (etc) utilising a competency-based framework.
