4-bedded children's home

Ofsted ratings.
About the Role
As
Deputy Manager
, you will play a key role in the
day-to-day running
of the home, supporting a
child-centred and therapeutic environment
where young people can feel safe, valued, and supported. You will lead the team in delivering
individualised care
, ensuring compliance with
Ofsted, safeguarding, and Children's Homes Regulations
.
Key Responsibilities
? Assist the
Registered Manager
in overseeing the home's daily operations.
? Lead, mentor, and develop staff to ensure the highest standards of care.
? Support and implement
care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour management strategies
.
? Ensure the home meets
Ofsted and safeguarding requirements
and maintains
regulatory compliance
.
? Foster a
positive and therapeutic environment
for children and young people.
? Build strong relationships with
social workers, families, and external agencies
.
? Support in maintaining
financial and operational performance
of the home.
What We're Looking For
? Experience as a
Deputy Manager or Senior Support Worker
in a children's home.
? Knowledge of
Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and children's residential care
.
? A passion for working with
children and young people
with complex needs.
? Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
? Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or working towards Level 5).
