Children's Outreach Support Workers (Bank)

Accrington based & surrounding areas

Starting pay at 13:50 per hour during weekdays and 15:56 per hour during weekends with additional 50 for a sleep shift

About the role

At Prosperity Children's Services we provide care for vulnerable children and young people across Lancashire.

We provided support in children's homes, contact center's and hospitals working alongside local authorities.

We also provide a transport/escort service which does involve some driving.

Hours available weekdays, evenings, weekends, nights and waking nights. In return we offer you the flexibility of being able to choose shifts when they are available.

Successful Candidates will have:

To be successful in this role you will have previous experience of working with a range of young people with emotional/behavioural problems, mental health conditions and/or challenging behaviours. Good communication skills are a must, as you may be required to spend lengthy amounts of time with service users therefore the ability to communicate well is essential as well as the ability to problem-solve.

Essential Requirements:

Full UK Driving Licence Enhanced DBS (paid for by the company) All employees are required to undertake our Crisis prevention institute training.
